Carbon Offset Program
                              in support of sustainable travel

CloudCruise believes that travel helps to effect positive change in our world through

• increased understanding and appreciation of the lives and cultures of others
• contribution to worldwide economies
• the oppoprtunity to destress and have fun with family and friends

Travel is a major source of carbon emissions and we would remiss not to take that
into account while acting in support of a sustainable planet.

We will contribute the equivalent carbon offset of one metric ton or 2,204.6 lbs of carbon for
each booking through cloudcruise.  This is at no cost to you the traveler.

This contribution made on your behalf will support climate-friendly projects that directly reduce
carbon emissions. Projects may increase jobs in disadvantaged areas,  help make
promising clean technologies more affordable and are in support of either renewable energy, energy efficiency or
reforestation projects. 


Verification is an essential component of this process.

• Energy Efficiency is in association with Chicago Climate Exchange
• Renewable energy commitments are primarily certified by Green-e or Environmental Resources Trust 
• Reforestation is audited by Environmental Resources Trust

over a year = 41,500 pounds.

What you can do at home

• Turn down your heater or up your air conditioner
• Weatherstrip, Caulk, Insulate
• Replace incandescent light bulbs with energy star lights
• Replace older appliances with energy star models
• Recycle household waste 
• Keep your car tuned and tires properly inflated
• Drive your most efficient car whenever possible
